Cloud data warehouse start-up Snowflake has appointed Alana Sahakian to the newly created role of channel and alliances manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Sydney, Sahakian will manage Snowflake’s channel partner organisations in Australia and New Zealand and developing joint go-to-market strategies and sales in the newly created role.
She joined Snowflake with five years of experience in the IT industry having most recently worked as the national partner sales manager for A/NZ at Tableau Software, recently acquired by Salesforce. She had previously worked at Oracle New Zealand as a business development executive.
“I’m looking forward to engaging our partners and working with them to support end users with technology that enhances their innovation transformation agendas, helps uncover new insights and enables new opportunities and revenue streams,” Sahakian said.
“Partners are central to everything we do and I’m excited to build a world class partner channel both in Australia and New Zealand.”
