1. Key channel plays for 2015

In Australia, Kaseya sees strong business opportunities in several geographically dispersed end-user verticals, particularly education and retail. We recognise our existing reseller partners have established relationships and expertise in these key verticals, and know where the Kaseya platform can add market-specific value. As a result, Kaseya has made an internal shift a channel model across the international market, focused on leveraging existing reseller partners to target specific verticals.

2. Key technology for 2015

We are seeing enterprise mobility and security trending in the market and believe they will continue to be key technology trends through 2015. Add to this the exponential growth of end-points as the Internet of Things emerges, these issues of security and mobility on scale become even more important. As these market opportunities have grown, Kaseya has responded by expanding its existing IT automation management platform, identifying ways we deliver services better. We are focused on providing our customers with a greater ability to delivery IT services to their organisations in the most efficient, secure way.

3. Key message to the channel for 2015

If reseller partners are successful, vendors are successful. My focus, and the focus at Kaseya in Australia, is to look for ways to improve the success of our resellers. It’s pretty simple. The software industry has had its challenges, with many vendors maintaining multiple, often conflicting routes-to-market. My message to partners would be to partner with vendors who build strong market opportunity; provide a reliable technology, and who understand the power of a channel and invest in developing those partnerships.

4. Key warning to the channel for 2015

Select your technology vendor partnerships carefully, making sure its technologies that align with your vertical focus. And trust is key. Work with vendors you can trust, who are channel focused and won’t compete with your own business model.

5. Key to your company’s success in 2015

The key to Kaseya’s success in 2015 will be its channel partner strategy. Everything we are doing in the region is focused on our target verticals and this is being funneled through our channel partners. Channel success is paramount to our own success.
